Emissions reductions targets 

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 9.0466 tCO2e by 2029. This is a reduction of 15% from baseline reporting.  

Carbon Reduction Projects  

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives  

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented in recent years, and the measures will be in effect when performing the contract:  

Paper waste 

  • Minimise the use of paper in the office. 
  • Seek to buy recycled and recyclable paper products. 
  • Reuse and recycle all paper where possible. 

Electronic waste 

  • Recycle any appropriate computer hardware / accessories.  

 

General office waste 

  • Reduce waste production wherever possible. 
  • Recycle all possible waste products, utilising in-office recycling facilities for plastics, paper & cardboard, glass, tins & cans etc. reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfill. 
  • Utilise composting for any food waste. 

 

Energy  

  • Switch off lights and electrical equipment when not in use. 
  • Adjust heating with energy consumption in mind. 
  • Take energy consumption and efficiency of new products into account when purchasing them. 

 

Office supplies 

  • Reuse and recycle everything we are able to. 

Transportation 

  • Promote the use of travel alternatives such as e-mail or video/phone conferencing. 
  • Make additional efforts to accommodate the needs of those using public transport, bicycles or walking. 

 

Maintenance  

  • Only use licensed and appropriate organisations to dispose of waste. 

 

Monitoring and improvement 

  • Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements. 
  • Continually improve and monitor environmental performance. 
  • Continually improve and reduce environmental impacts. 
  • Review this plan and any related business issues at annual board meetings. 

 

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:  

  • Use of renewable energy / utility providers. 
  • Use printing sparingly, reserving it for critical needs only. 
  • Switch to online meetings in all circumstances apart from where face-to-face meetings are requested by clients. 

 

Declaration and Sign Off 

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans. 

 

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas 

company reporting. 

 

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard . 

 

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
